SSC CGL stands for "Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level", the most popular government job exam in India. SSC CGL Eligibility
SSC CGL 2023 eligibility includes various parameters that aspirants need to satisfy in order to see their name in the final selection list like educational qualification, age limit, physical standards, etc. Check out the following eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled by the candidates:
Nationality: A candidate must be a resident of Indian territory with valid ID proof, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who moved to India before 1962 with an intention to settle down permanently in India, or a person of Indian origin who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with intention of settling down permanently in India.
SSC CGL Age Limit: SSC has increased the age limit for SSC CGL 2023 recruitment, though the age varies from post to post. The minimum age limit defined is 18 years and the upper age limit is capped at 32 years. As per the official SSC CGL Notification 2023, candidates should have a graduate degree on or before 01.08.2022. Candidates, who are in the final year of graduation can also apply with their provisional degrees. However, the SSC CGL qualification varies from post to post.

The commission has revised the selection process for SSC CGL exam last year. Now the exam will be conducted in two tiers only, which are further categorized into different sessions and modules.
